The Birmingham Theatre School was established over 55 years ago with the purpose of providing high quality professional performance based theatre training. Over the years hundreds of students have entered all aspects of the theatre, film and television industry. With our comprehensive package of full and part time acting classes the school looks forward to welcoming both old and new students alike. Previous experience is not essential and we hope that you enjoy your term of study with us. All classes lead to performances at the end of each term in one of our studio theatre venues. Whether you have acted before, or are considering this type of class for the first time, we provide a relaxed and friendly yet professional environment to suit your individual needs.

Accreditation

All our part time courses are accredited by the open college network in partnership with Matthew Boulton college of further/ higher education, providing nationally recognised qualifications. This provides each student with a certificate upon successful completion of a course. All classes work towards developing a broad range of skills within each group. If you are starting for the first time then please feel free to join whichever class you wish, beginners are always welcome. The main ingredient we ask from you is commitment and enthusiasm.
